    This is me, Gary R. Hoffman, born in St. Louis, Missouri.  I was born at an early age.  I taught English and Speech/Drama for 22 years.  I have held a gazillion kinds of different jobs in my life.

     I learned long ago that happiness is success, not money.  I have done my best to enjoy my life and feel I have done a pretty fair job.

     I have been divorced.  I have two children who have brought me great joy and heartache, but usually not at the same time. 

     Sandy, the woman I now live with, and I have known each other for over 20 years.  We worked together in the auction business.  We have now been together going on 4 years.

          Welcome  to the web site of Gary R. Hoffman!! 

This site relates to novels and short stories I have written, plus some of our travels.  Sandy and I live in a motor home with our cat, Callie.  Since Sandy recently sold her home, our home now is truely "where we park it."

We sell jewelry, gold chain by the inch,  at flea markets, festivals and arts and crafts fairs to make a living--I live to write.

This web site is being started on September 9, 2005.  We are now staying in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  We will be here for three more weeks selling at the flea market.  After that, we will be returning to Missouri for a series of arts and crafts ffairs.  (Schedule on next page.)

     We will be in Missouri to just after Thanksgiving.  We have developed a new holiday called "Thanksmus."  We celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time.  This way, we can see and visit with our children and try to avoid the really cold weather.

     After that, we will be heading to Florida for the winter.  On the way to Florida, we plan to visit with old friends along the way and then go on a cruise.

Our next goal is to sell at a flea market somewhere near Naples, Florida for the winter.  Haven't got all these details worked out yet.
